Lesson 5 – Promoting Your Moms Group

Now it is time to promote your new moms group! Below are just a few ideas on how you can promote your new moms group in person:
 Post Flyers in and around public places where moms hang out.
 Ask your pastor if you can post an announcement in your church bulletin.
 Make up free business cards and hand them out to every mom you run into! You can get 250 free business cards at Vista Print; all you have to do is pay for shipping!
 Post an ad in your local newspaper.
 Post an ad on Craigslist.

Now that you have told everyone you know (and don’t know) about your moms group you are now ready to tell everyone in cyberspace about your new moms group! Below is a list of places where you can advertise your new moms group for free, or very low cost:
